BUENOS AIRES — Samsung is seeking regulatory approval for its Safety Truck that it believes will improve road safety.

Dubbed the ‘Safety Truck’, Samsung installed a wireless camera to the front of the truck, which sends live video feed to a wall made of four exterior monitors on the back of the truck. Drivers behind the truck can see clearly what is going on in front of the truck and thus can decide when to overtake, according to an official blog of Samsung.

The truck was developed and tested in Argentina, where traffic accident rates are among the highest in the world, CBS News reported.
