Why the wave to the Mustang?

The Mustang was accelerating out of the pits. The Mustang’s drive gave me a point-by to acknowledge that he saw me and was going to follow the blend rules (too often ignored). I returned the courtesy with the wave. No, I didn’t take my eyes off the track.

Did you keep the deer?

There was nothing left to keep, she was thoroughly destroyed.

Did you get glass in your eyes?

Yes, and everywhere else. I put my arms up to protect my body, did not get my eyes covered. Still pulling glass out of the car. Keep your visor down. All a windshield protects you from is wind.
